Is there any buzz regarding the J-15S and when it might enter production? I'd imagine it would be fitted with the same kind of upgrades aboard the J-16.

This is a terrfic photo. Thanks for posting. Gents look at this photo in hi-res and see how many shipmates you see doing various task on the flight-deck. It looks some what busy. Much more busy than nay Russian flight deck photo I've ever seen. Yep. Nice job PLAN. Very nice indeed.

True indeed ... their flight deck activities seem to be ramping up ( only to be expected) and the requisite aircraft handling, fuelling and arming procedures/skills are coming on well.

In addition, it seems apparent from the numerous photos we have now seen of it during different deployments, that they have established the four A2A missiles as a standard peacetime load out.

J-15 really looks in its element on a carrier. Like an albatross, shooting at it brings you bad luck

A strong indication, but far from conclusively so.
