Hi,
i don’t think Turkey will go for it as been a NATO member already suffering
with USA pressure with S-400 deal with Russia there is a fair chance with
Thailand & some of the South American countries if China give them interest
free finance kind of deal rest of the countries mentioned in Middle East can
easily buy twin engine jets vs single engine
little offtopic china should develop a twin engine version of J10s for export market
im not counting other Js with twin engines that way countries rich in economy &
can deviate little away from USA line can go for J10s dual engine kind of fighter in
future
thank you

Middleweight 4.5gen market is completely saturated. Why take a risk on J10 when you can choose from very well established international players offering Rafale, Typhoon, Gripen, F15/16/18, Su35 etc.?
Aside from Gripen, all of them have their production lines full. US would probably like to sell new gen Superbugs but I doubt it'll see any sales.
-------
4th and 4.5th gen markets are already over-saturated and within a few years the 5th gen market will be saturated as well.

Heck, even the LIFT/LCA market is very saturated. The point is there are too many competitors in every section of the military aviation.

Between 2009 and 2013, an average of 50 Eurofighters were produced per year.

......
This recent level of activity, delivering an average of 25 aircraft per year, contrasts with the programme's peak production rate in 2010, when 60 Typhoons were delivered.

Typhoon lines are also somewhat busy atm but there's still some capacity left depending on which country the assembly line is located in.

And I don't see any other country except Iran ordering Su-35s.

----------

And to whomever above that said Turkey was interested in J-10Cs:

That was simply #fakenews .

Turkey would rather scrape the barrel than to order aircraft from a non-NATO source. In fact, it can't even get a single screw from its allies without facing shadow embargos. Thus, it is planning to rely on indigenous aircraft that are under development until Kaan/MMU/TF-X becomes available.

It may well be but what about support? Buy Rafale, you've got 70+ years of experience in supporting clients around the world, buy J10 - not so much.
70+ years experience doesn't matter. You really think l'armée de l'air knows something the PLAAF doesn't?

What matters more is political reliability and the support you'll get when it matters. Unless you're attacking its interests directly, China won't give you shit and will keep supplying you. Not so much with France, where you'll get human rights sanctions*.

*Israel not included.

No, but Dassault probably knows a lot more than AVIC about supporting a worldwide customer base.

China sold more fighter aircrafts in 60's/70's than now.

J-5 Operators

North Korea, Sudan , Albania , Bangladesh , Cambodia , Pakistan , SriLanka , Tanzania , Vietnam , Zambia and Zimbabwe.

J-6 Operators

J-7 operators

so my point is, AVIC is not an alien when it comes to dealing with worldwide customer base. maybe not at the same level of Western firms. but still AVIC has vast experience in this department.

i have noticed this thing, China don't push or Promote their modern aircrafts. maybe its coz of changed policy and enormous domestic demand.

A nice image to mark the 74th anniversary of the founding of PLAAF.

Incidently, USAF also procured a number of J-7 s for aggressors purposes, just thought I'd mention it as the graphs didn't show this
