how does this plane compare with f-16v?
Which version? The F-16A/B upgrades to F-16 V standard or factory new F-16V?
No one really knows much about the capabilities of each aircraft’s primary sensors, the radar. There is some speculation on the apg-83 but little “hard” data. The J-10C sensors are a black box other then some very general things like antenna size.

Obviously. Upgraded F-16A/B retains older engine/airframe and not only suffers from reduced kinematics but also lower power generation for the radar/avionics. This has been discovered during encounters between J-11B and F-16V in “ADIZ intrusions” in 2020. Both Taiwanese and Mainland media have reported on this.
Video is a nice compilation of J-10 development and has nothing to do with my response to @drowingfish.
The public specs paint a fairly similar picture. However the J10C has signficant RCS reducing measures including a DSI, it's fielded missiles are also better. Overall, I think the Typhoon is a closer match up for the J10C.
But both J10C and F16V are close enough that in a 1 on 1, it would almost only come down to pilot skill.
