Egypt is studying Chinese bids for J-10CE planes. Egypt has requests
Manufacture of a light article aircraft and a training aircraft India presented to Egypt an offer to produce the aircraft LCA TEJAS MK-2 / LCA SPORT
And the South Korea show breathed them in with the KAI FA-50 Golden Eagle
The Indian offer includes LCA, LCH, and DHRUUV aircraft to set up production lines in Egypt for export to Arab African countries. China. If it does not provide the required technology transfer, India will get the deal, which is of a large size.

In the past, Egypt collected
120 F-7 aircraft
120 F-6 aircraft
120-200 K-8E aircraft
And the wide spread of the K-8 plane in Africa because of their confidence in the choices of the Egyptian Air Force, which made 33 modifications to it and replaced many of the components with high-reliability and higher-quality components to serve now for 20 years and under development in cooperation with China to the level of K-8NG
The choice is to cooperate with Egypt or Ethiopia, which obtained 15 billion loans from China and is unable to repay them.

Well, if it's between Egypt and Ethiopia, China will clearly picking Egypt.

I do wonder about this request. Why would Egypt need another fighter jet type and why would it want FA-50 or Tejas? Shouldn't it be looking for something that's a lot better? Didn't you just purchased some Rafale?

The other thing is that if Egypt does opt Chinese, wouldn't it need more than just J-10C? J-10C is a nice aircraft, but it's only really good when paired with PL-15/10, KD-88, AWACS, ground based radar and EW aircraft.

I thought Egypt would wait for something like J-31/35. Which I'm sure would be offered to Egypt when it's ready later this decade.

I don’t see how tech transfer for a plane that doesn’t exist, a helicopter that doesn’t exist, and another helicopter that has a terrible record is attractive.

J-10 had many years of service and 1 export sale, no comparison.
