Do you think the green bits are radar transparent? And that there will be AESA, ESM, etc behind those panels? Notice how there could be radar on the wings pointing up.A new J-10 model?

not really, if you look at previous J-10B/C with primer you’ll notice that region has always been green. iirc that is indication of those areas having composite skin (as opposed to metal)Do you think the green bits are radar transparent? Avionics spine. Useful and should have minimal impact on raw airframe performance beyond the added weight (which could/should be offset by uprated engine upgrade). But man is it fugly.A new J-10 model?

I guess we can learn to get used to it xdAvionics spine. Useful and should have minimal impact on raw airframe performance beyond the added weight (which could/should be offset by uprated engine upgrade). But man is it fugly.
Yeah that indeed looks better, can’t say I agree with the “growler dragon” name on the second pic tho…
Care to post that particular video here? We currently have so little info on the alleged J-10D that anything new would be welcome.According to one video on youtube, the J-10D has straight wings instead of the seagull wings of the original J-10, which will reduce lift and drag but increases max speed.
