Why doesn't the J-10C use guided bombs?

I'm not sure how new or how old this photo is but I hate seeing modern plane carrying unguided weapon. Taking example of the battle field in Ukraine, if an airplane carries unguided weapon into the battle field, it might be shot down before releasing any ammunition.

Thanks that would make some sense because it looked a little strange lighting wise.

Henri Kenhman posted it on Twitter, so that seemed to add credibility but I guess he fell for it then.

A little fun fact: China currently uses Gen 1-4 not Gen 1-5 for example, J-20 is 4th gen and J-10 is 3.5 gen.

For the reason they've decided it to be that way I have no clue, maybe someone else knows.

2 reasons:
1、USAF use 4 generation devide before 2005.That means: dogfight fighter jet F-86 generation/ F-104 faster than fastest fighter jet generation/ F-15 return to dogfight generation/ F-22 stealth generation. And that is the age when China just developed J-10 and bought Flankers to match US 3rd gen fighter jet F-15 and F-16. Then in 2005,US throw away their root to match Russian 5 generation devide.And Chinese doesn't.
2、Chinese don't have a generation of fighter jet can make 5 gen devide reasonable. they simpley devide them like that: J-5、J-6 1st gen；J-7、J-8 2nd gen；J-10、J-11 3rd gen；J-20 4th gen.

And for 3.5 gen. It's not that clear in PLAAF. In the golden helmet match.Su-30MKK sometimes devide to the 3 gen group and sometimes to the 3.5 gen.
But It's mostly accepted in China. 3.5 gen must use ASR rather than mechanical scanning radar.So J-10B/C J-16 Su-35 is no doubt 3.5gen.While Su-30 not. It devided to 3.5 gen matching group just for some political reasons.

It's ludicrous to see Gen4+ jet fighters still use something as obsolete as unguided rocket pods.
