The Pakistan Air Force performed a wonderful air show on the National Day, and the J-10C formation appeared!
A couple of important things to note here:
1) The final fly-by of fighters (traditionally given to the best fighter in the PAF) was flown by the 3-ship formation of J-10Cs (minutes 4:30). This is the first time that this spot has been taken by a Non-US made jet. So this parade is basically the official 'passing of the torch.'
2) The OIC conference took place yesterday in Islamabad, so the dignitaries from 57 Muslim nations were present to observe. Military representatives from many of these nations were also present. This is as much 'marketing,' as it is a geopolitical statement.
