What's the next evolution of J-10 series? J-10 stealth fighter perhaps?

A single engine stealth fighter would be a potent platform for invading airspaces of neighboring adversaries.

If there was no J10B/C, maybe we would have been hearing of an impending next gen plane to replace J10. After all, first flight of J10 was in 1998. So in 2023 it will be 25 years it's been around. But given that J10B/C is around, and given that its maker in one interview said "so much was changed and improved compared to J10A that it's basically a new plane" it may very well be that PLAAF is satisfied enough with C variant that it's not planning a replacement in the next few years. Or even in the next decade.

J-10 as a single-tail design would never be convertible into a stealth fighter. Unless they completely redesigned the rear control surfaces in which case it might be easier to just work on a clean sheet design.

Nothing among single enginers. The only one that comes to close is F-16V but it lacks DSI and IRST to compete with J-10C.
F-16V is not even the most capable F-16 variant... ;)
It is hard to gauge how capable J-10C is as so little has been revealed of its capabilities. We know the basics, we know it (apparently) has AESA, IRST, HMS...but we don't know quality of the sensor fusion, what kind of EW system it has, self-protection suite, datalinks...all of it matter more than just the speed, sustained turn rate or size of radome. We don't know how big differences there are between variants, is difference between B and C mostly just the engine, or are there other major upgrades beneath the skin.

A pessimist might guess J-10B/C is at least on the level of ca. 2000 Western fighters, like F/A-18E/F Block I, Gripen C/D, early Tranche Eurofighters (basically, somewhat better than current in-service JF-17). If we give Chinese aviation industry bit more credit then it is probably on the level of best F-16's or MiG-35.

It's clearly a serious aircraft and it's build in number. The build in number mean that a lot of pilots are trained for the type. These planes are probably not hangar queens and pilot a keep a good amount of flying hours. That's a big deal.
