Just pics for funzies with nice side-boobage LOL. They ain't gonna make this thing. It's not large enough for internal bays and the single vertical stabilizer makes lateral stealth really difficult. Also all the parts are basically different from J-10 parts such that it only looks similar but is really an entirely different jet to make. They'd better focus their efforts on making J-20 better and reverse-trickle any internal goodies back to obtain a J-10D with minimal external changes.

Exactly. Stealthy J-10 just doesn't make sense. If it's done as an academic effort for potential export purposes, there might be some merit to it. Otherwise, why on earth would PLAAF/PLAN choose such a project at the cost of losing more funding for J-20 and/or J-31. Pure fanboy nonsense. Any J-10D improvements should be under the skin.

Could be the D variant being hinted at. They did say we'll see it soon. It makes no sense for LO version so it could very well be J-10D.
