supertele lens compress distance and make far away things look much closer to the foreground subjects.

Upon closer inspection I take it back. Lighting looks fine. Still, kinda looks PSed (even though I can see how a super long lens can create the image).

As danielchin said when using zoom lens, an object does not only appear bigger but sometimes it also appears much closer relative to the frame of object in the foreground.. almost like an optical illusion.
