J-10 Thread IV

See 1:09, it does not seem to be any special treatment at all, just basic/auto white balance

That looks like standard PLAAF gray to me. How is your display calibrated? Are you watching the footage from an OLED phone screen?

I am not sure I agree with your assessment. Maybe you can check out the other trailers or wait till the movie is available to check out other footage. The blue j-10 is certainly different, and in 1:09 the entire scene is in auto white background and desaturated. Compared to other J-10 footages in the rest of the trailer, the other ones are too warm but the J10 color is still gray.

Great find !
Even if most serials are again deleted tit is clearly visible in one image showing them from the 130. Brigade - aka ex. 130. Regiment, 44th Division - which must have just recently converted from the J-7H to the J-10A when the 131st Brigade got the latest J-10C.

Maybe I do not fully understand Your concern, but we have now confirmed this 130th Brigade, which was formerly flying J-7H as 130th Regiment and we have also confirmed the 130st Brigade flying J-10C which was formerly flying J-10A. So isn't it likely that the 131st got new J-10C and transferred their older A-models to the 130th Brigade ??

It makes sense to have land based attack aircraft like J-16 into the foreseeable future to support seaward defence and support naval ships as well as fighters protecting anti-submarine aircraft so limiting PLANAF to carrier based aircraft will no happen.
