J-10 Thread IV

The part of the Chinese population who are interested in FB or other US social media is tiny. For those who are really interested, there is never a problem to access them. If you're aware, earlier in the year when Tsai Ing-wen was elected to Taiwan President, there was some mainland Chinese netizens calling for protests on Tsai's FB account. Tens of thousand showed up and left messages.
Tiny? If CCP isn't afraid FB has the potential to disrupt their gravy train, then why restrict it? But, Blitzo's right, this is a J-10 thread, so I suggest we move it to the WFT thread.

It's an excuse to block foreign software companies from making inroads without incurring the wrath of the WTO. It's protectionism disguised as repression. The West gets to take a dump on the CCP for "political suppression" and China gets to prevent hundreds of billions of dollars from traversing through Western companies like FB, EBay, Twitter, Google, Youtube, Paypal, etc. It's a win-win for both sides.

Nah man, screw that.

Just admit that it was inappropriate and inconsiderate to bring it up in the first place and then we can move on, instead of trying to make your politically loaded and two faced post have some air of legitimacy.
