Hope my translation helps. It is strange that #9 accident is missed. And five accidents happened in July, because heavy training mission during summer time?

We see that engine halt mainly happened earlier on and none in recent years, if this table is reliable.

RPM drop is just a less serious version of the same thing. It is said that the problem stems from design issues that even the manufacturer couldn't fix. What PLAAF has been doing is just increase the frequency of inspection on certain parts of the engine. In the early days of my membership on this board, I pointed out how there is no proof of AL-31FN being more reliable than WS-10. It seems my statement still hold true today.
