For you Deino!

Deino said:I just played around a bit with the images of the first three operational serial machines of this so far unknown unit that appeared - again with unfortunately psed-with away serial numbers - ... however the last number is visible: Therefore we have the numbers 2 (or 12), 8 (or even 18) and a 0 (so rather a 10)... and if the penultimate digit is also (maybe ) a "0", so it could give a hint to the 9th or 19th Divisions that come as potential units in question.
What do You think ?? :what:

It is possible that they would establish this new FTTC brigade for J-10B. But considering that FTTC draws from the best pilots in Chinese air force, there is a limit to the number of FTTC brigades. At some point, they need to start replacing the older planes in FTTC brigades. Maybe J-16 will replace the Su-30s at FTTC, but I kind of doubt that. I think the first J-16 regiment/brigade will probably be found somewhere in Shenyang MR.An interesting news (at the CDF) from Huitong, who has also updated his site:
Interesting that he says this ... since it fits nicely to my post a few days ago:
As such 78x0x would mean another "new" Brigade most likely also assigned to the FTTC ... :what: even more since the 169. Brigade would fit nicely to the 170, 171 and 172.
It seems as if regardless how interesting the Zhuhai Airshow is we are blinded and fooled by these high-resolution images of the FC-31 and Y-20 ... but we miss the real interesting things that happen now a bit more in secrecy behind: A new Brigade for the GJ-1 UCAV, maybe a new Brigade for the J-10B ... so what else we are missing ??? A similar new unit for the J-16 ??

Do we know for a fact what type of radar is used on J-10B? I think it is pretty much established that J-10C will be using AESA radars. What about J-10B?
