How big is the technological gap between the AESA on KJ-2000 and one that can fit into the nose of a fighter?

Not a single bit. The main differences would be the frequencies used and the pulse repetition rate. For an AEW, the radar band would have to be a much lower frequency and with a much lower PRF rate.

that's China's 8th generation fighter,its exterior designs were intended to make the enemy pilot go "AWWWW ITS SO CUTE OMFG" and refuse to follow the orders by his superior to shoot it down. thereby creating internal chaos within enemy's internal command structure, giving the PLAAF the chance to penetrate its air defence and bomb the crap out of them

note: this plane have not yet entered service because it has not been proven to be able to fly

more pictures of J-10B in flight testing with PL-8. I was kind of hoping to see it with the new generation SRAAM, but no such luck.
