Isn't there any update what so ever on the J-10B??? The aircraft is gone dead, or has China abandoned all plans for the J-10B???

I think its more a matter of the plane watchers in China have abandoned the J10B and instead are all chasing after the J20.

I believe J-10AY is the designation for the J-10s which are part of the august 1st aerobatic team?

The only physical differences is the addition of wing smoke pods, and the paint scheme I think.

I see. Thanks for that information. Will take another look at the kit when more pictures of it are available.

... and the scale is 1/48 and not 1/35 !

Ops! You're right!

You sure the J-10S is for show? In Chinese phonetics (as often applied to the aircraft denomination), the S refers to "shuang" meaning double (double seats here).

this is kind of interesting. It looks like we have two J-10s number 60288 and 60289 (maybe I'm seeing incorrectly?) at CAC.

If this is so, then it seems like they are sending more J-10s to FTTC.

Is that a J-10B sitting in the corner with a tarp over its head?

No, You are correct & I would agree with You, these are two more for the FTTC.

Is it just my imaginings, or does 60289 looks like it has the beginnings of a canted nose? Damn leaf is in the way, but it certainly doesn't look as straight as 60288. Or maybe its just the glare playing tricks on my eyes.

Are there any more shots of these planes? Especially 60289?
