I didn't want to imply that this is finally the WS-10A TH - even if I wish so - but the one in the trainer is "fine", whereas the exhaust opening from the A looks a bitt "off-circle" ??

That photo was obviously a enlarged low-res photo. The "off-circle" was due to the up-sizing.

Seems kind of silly that the tail number is obscured, since it is easy to work out that J-10AH 10 must be 83140.

It is a pity that Huitong's site is still not accessible so that this number could be checked out.

yeah huitong's site is back up. not sure what happened with his 'disappearance'.

It has not only J-10s but i like it, it also has Su-27s/J-11s and J-8IIs i liked it but i do not understand anything, can any one offer any good translation it seems they`re talkong about training

Does anyone know what is a J-10AY?

I know this is not a credible link, but the Chinese military scale model maker Trumpeter is releasing a 1/35 scale J-10AY in July 2011, which is in a few weeks time.

So far, they have released J-10A, J-10B and J-10S (demo team) kits. While Trumpeter has a few SU kits, they have not released any J-11 kits yet. I suppose they feel that J-11 kits are lower priority as compared to J-10 ones.

I believe J-10AY is the designation for the J-10s which are part of the august 1st aerobatic team?

The only physical differences is the addition of wing smoke pods, and the paint scheme I think.
