Yesterday, Chinese Central Television confirmed that J10 has equiped with Chinese AESA.

This information was already known. The design of the nose was a first sign but some very reliable posters gave more insight information. 6 planes wil be delivered to Pakistan in 2011. There the integration tests will start with western avionics.

The B version hasn't even entered PLAAF service yet. I doubt we will see it in PAF service in the foreseeable future.

It may happen that respective subvariants of j10b for PAF and PLAAF will enter service at a roughly the same time. That being said, I still don't see full operational capability being introduced in either air force before, say, 2013.

PAF may be looking for thales AESA radar

I doubt we will be selling PAF AESA in the near to mid future. The last deal they were looking at was RC400 with MICA.

please look further back in this thread, you'd notice that report came out a while ago. It's not recent. It just happened that CD managed to recycle that thread for whatever reason. And CCTV hasn't shown to be 100% accurate on these things.

most likely J-10B will form the first regiment in late 2011. After all, it did have the first flight in end of 2008.

That is quite possible. PLAAF gets first units delivered throughout the 2011., IOC in 2012., FOC sometime thereafter.

The structure of the J-10 will need significant beefing up along with the landing gear. Carrier landings aren't called controlled crashes for no reason.
