Alastair Crook says the IDF airforce cancelled their attack after the SEAD phase failed. According to him, the IDF fighter jets were getting locked on by an unknown SAM system well outside of Iran's airspace, so they decided to cancel the operation and declare it a success on mainstream "media", such as the articles @_killuminati_ posted that start with"Iran pounded" or "Iran devastated". Jacques Baud said similar things, that the operation was supposed to be a SEAD phase, followed by bombings for 10 hours, but the SEAD failed and the Iranian airspace was still well protected despite losing some SAMs. Supposedly, Iran also has SAM systems in Iraq and Syria that were complicating things further.

In summary, Iran has a better air defence system and better offensive systems. The IDF needed to use fighter jets and utilize neighbouring airspace in order to get closer to Iran's airspace before air launching their missiles. Iran can just launch its missiles from TELs and mobile drone catapults right from home without risking losing planes or pilots.

The Yemeni resistance posted a video of a UUV test.

FT reports that hawks in the US and Israel see an opportunity now to inflict decisive damage on Iran, including its nuclear program. IDF claims to have inflicted severe damage on Iranian air defenses.

There are already discussions in hawkish Israeli and US defence circles about the prospect of Israel — or even the US — striking Iran’s nuclear programme in the coming months, during the “lame duck” period after the US presidential election.

Many have long argued against trying to strike Iran’s hardened underground nuclear facilities, saying that Israel lacked the advanced US-provided airborne refuelers and bunker-busting “ordnance penetration” to succeed.

But the weekend’s attack has emboldened some to say Israel should use the opportunity to inflict even greater damage.

“If the Israelis were widely successful taking out Iran’s air defences then is there bandwidth for them to do more, and for [Biden] to give them a green light?” the former US defence official said.

“They were just able to carry out . . . this long-range strike operation without our refuellers. They still need heavy bombs, but if the air space isn’t contested [over Iran] then the Israelis may be able to take a few swings at it.””

It makes a lot of sense. It explains why so much verified air traffic but little result. Why Israel would ever hold back on an attack (not their style). And the news coming out of big success mismatch their claimed minor retaliation, because article was prewritten for a bigger campaign.

IDF says military goals in Lebanon achieved, gov't can reach diplomatic resolution

Most of the terrorist infrastructure and ordnance near the Lebanon-Israel border have been destroyed, the IDF reported.

The IDF said that its military goals in Lebanon have been achieved and that the Israeli government can now promote a diplomatic resolution to end the conflict in the North, Walla reported on Tuesday.

According to the Northern Command, most of the Hezbollah terror infrastructure near the Lebanon-Israel border has been destroyed, and most of the weapons have been transferred to Israel or destroyed in the field.

Despite this, the IDF also said there are Lebanese villages where the work has not been completed, in which operations through Shin Bet and IDF intelligence still need to be completed.
If Israel's political echelon does not achieve a diplomatic resolution regarding southern Lebanon, two possible scenarios could occur:

  1. The continuation of military pressure through ground maneuvers and airstrikes.
  2. Continuation of military control of territory occupied by the IDF in all of southern Lebanon - including a scenario in which the Israeli military will be required to expand operational control of the villages.

The West is delusional. They refuse to conduct diplomacy and they refuse to admit defeat. They exist in a parallel universe full of insanity and denial. Arkham Asylum doesn't have shit on the West. Just today I think they've lost 5 Merkava and multiple Hermes drones and tens of dead and injured and thousands more evacuating settlements as Hezbollah expands the areas being targeted. The list of posts is so long I don't even feel like posting anymore. Most of it is on Telegram at Intelslava and Middle East Spectator.
