Meanwhile, the U.S. Naval Institute’s news service reported, citing an anonymous official, that the Eisenhower would be returning home to Norfolk, Virginia, after an over eight-month deployment in combat that the Navy says is its most intense since World War II. The report said an aircraft carrier operating in the Pacific would be taking the Eisenhower’s place.

As much as the US loves to absolve itself of responsibility by pretending it's the junior partner; we shouldn't for a moment forget that Israel is entirely dependant on the US for economic, material and diplomatic support.
Israel is a manifestation of US ideology - not the other way around.
Regardless, US is still the junior partner.

Btw, stuff like this makes me think that the US totally miscalculated the century by investing in their usual outdated and expensive, large systems, also in terms of their empire's grand strategy (mindset) it seems as well.
These drones are probably just the start of that kind of warfare. With a couple of mannequins on top, it's very hard to identify a drone made from a small fishing boat in a busy area. Reaction time would be way too long.

A lot of things can be made without a lot of investment like sticking some torpedo launchers under a cargo ships and launch them all in the viccinity of a navy fleet or in the middle of a busy harbor... even with the best tech ingenuity can mess up things a lot.

Support for Israel is a dogma in the US, AIPAC is little more than an organization promoting orthodoxy among the orthodox.

Whether the spiritual power the Zionist lobby wields translates into actual worldly power is very much something the fanatics in Washington gets to choose. It's no different to the Pope demanding Crusades from the medieval European powers - to prove their orthodoxy they had to comply in some sort or form - but at the end they held the Worldly power, not the Pope or Crusader states.

Hezbollah released a video which shows satellite images of Israeli critical military and civilian infrastructure. They include the Ashdod Port, Ramat David Airbase near Aful, Nevatim Airbase, Haifa refineries and harbour, Negev Airbase, Ben Gurion Airport, The Meged oil field near Kfar Saba, Leviathan gas field, Tamar platform. Hezbollah is basically telling them “do you really want to this because if you start this war it will literally be the end of your state.”
