If Israel cannot control and resolve this conflict fast, foreign state fighters and even military units will start pouring in. Followed by invasion of actual militaries of neighbouring Arab countries. Depends on how poorly they perform the Arab states might actually go ahead with their plan to try end Israel as a state.

Then US will have to get involved and this is something Russia and China would be happy to see. Taiwan and SK then would not sleep well.

Israel has nuclear weapons can we please let this meme die
And what would they do with those? The moment they use, it will open pandora's box, so yes please, go ahead.
Or you think they are going to establish deterrent?

It's like saying you stole my land, then bought some weapons to deter me to get my land back.
That's not how the deterrent works, specially if i am about to take you with me.

So either have the gut to say something with those nukes & see what happens next
Else stop the Israel has some nukes bs.

One of the comments there raised a good point, when China is about to end a major international sport event, some war breaks out.
2008 Olympics - Georgia, 2022 Olympics - Ukraine, 2023 Asian games - Palestine

When is China hosting the next big sporting event? ;)
Taiwan be sweating and plotting the dates all the major sporting events in the next 3 decades

South Korea be more worried. Taiwan is still considered part of China. But SK being shown recently to be in camp with US and Japan, it might just eventually follow the same way too.

Now they need to worry about how many gliders, drones and rockets Dear Leader can get his hands on, being right next to the worlds biggest industrial nation by far.

Its early morning and too early to say what'll happen next. But once again we come to Western media's portrayal of the event. Hamas's actions are portrayed as "biting off more than it could chew" while Zelensky and Ukraine's resistance to Russia is considered brave. Whatever your stance on either respective conflict, both conflicts do involve a hopelessly outmatched force standing up to a country with 5th generation fighter jets and another country that at least prior to the war was still considered one of the world's superpowers.

In the case of the Palestinians, perhaps the events of today will ensure that only apocalypse awaits them but truly what other choice do they have? Diaspora folks might complain about anti-Asian racism but lets be real, none of us have ever been in a situation like Gazans where life is the very embodiment of nasty, brutish, and short. If Israel does make this a battle to the last man, then Gazans will have it if they can go down in history for their resistance. Lets not forget too during the height of Uygur terrorism, Western media was all in on portraying them as freedom fighters, so there's that.

But alas, politics and race enter the field. Ukrainians are brave for standing up to Russia despite the massive power disparity while the Palestinians are portrayed as animals, whereas the Israelis who created the conditions that made them animals to begin with are the victims.

That's alot of wishful thinking. Jordan has a pony show army, Syrian army is busy, Egyptian army is corrupt to the core, and busy governing and looting it's own people, Egyptian president has multiple overlords etc, so it's like a vassal state, but like tier-2 vassal state. Only credible force is Hezbollah, and so far, despite all the chest thumping, Lebenon is in no state whatsoever to eat Israeli counter strikes and Hezbollah is limited by domestic situation as well as domestic politcs, there is lots of economic hardship in Lebanon, the economy has already collapsed, if their actions bring more misery, they risk loosing support from the Lebanese street. Only way it works is Israel hits Hezbollah first in a dramatic way. This wont happen, for past 2-3 years, Israel and Hezbollah both have gone out of their way to clean up any incidents on the border. Hezbollah is also busy in Syria.

Which practically leaves Hamas alone.

West Bank has been made impotent by PLO old guard, completely disconnected from reality, they are not even a legitimate govt, they literally couped back to power by help of US, Israel and some other regional players, after they lost the elections to Hamas. so PLO is also like tier-3 vassal entity with multiple layers of overlords. This was when Hamas had stronger moderate voices, but Hamas got a big L for playing by the rules and being nice, so they want back to being nasty realists and perhaps many voices turned extremist due to what their people endure everyday.

Interesting then Hamas attack Israel, Israel respond by airstrikes on Gaza which is at least in names governed by PLO.
PLO looking impotent, they may be forced to condemn Israel and also risk further losing support of Palestinians and pushing balance to Hamas.

If an internationally recognized state entity mounts a conventional invasion of Israel, or in the case of Iran a major ballistic missile attack, then it will be subject to a countervalue first strike. That is the explicit threat that establishes deterrence, and it works.

No, Israel's enemies do not have the capacity to "take you with me". That is totally ridiculous. You would think that Israel handing crushing defeat to three separate Arab attempts at invasion would dispel this idea, but I guess not. The contemporary military balance is even more lopsided. They would get crushed again if they attempted invasion. So who is going to destroy Israel? Iran? Well they do not have an existing stockpile of nuclear weapons, which is the only way they could do it. They have had the capability to make a U235 bomb for over a decade now, and yet they haven't. Because Iranian leaders know, as Netanyahu has basically admitted, that if they ever so much as test a weapon Israel will immediately hit them with a counterforce first strike, no matter the consequences.

Analyze conflicts objectively, not on the basis of pride.
