What I'm observing is the persistent hostile rhetoric intended to both portray Russian actions as somehow irresponsible and to dissuade the Russians from their current strategy. I don't expect that this rhetoric is the only means by which 'the west' will seek to accomplish this. In fact, I expect that they will seek to do so by any means necessary. That said, this attack fits, perfectly, into that modus operandi.I'm not sure about the "western strategy" part.[...]
In other words, I don't dissociate the rhetoric from actions taken that could function to accomplish its objectives.
I've watched these guys all since I was a teenager; I've had to; they'll do anything! In 1968 they put out a contract on folks like me that they haven't cancelled yet! Some of us will never forget how they murdered Fred Hampton. Isn't it interesting that Chicago is still a center of such actions? See:

Tomorrow, I hope to get back to the action on the ground. The pace of Loyalist offensive action has slowed in southern Aleppo but picked-up in northern Aleppo, Latakia, Homs, and Damascus. It's getting to be some work to keep up!
btw, how's this for a map of Loyalist positions in southern Aleppo? This thing is huge (though very detaiIed)!
