ISIS/ISIL conflict in Syria/Iraq (No OpEd, No Politics)

Boat, ship, submarine. Cuba has connections with Venezuela who have economic ties with Iran. Commercial and military access into and out of Cuba are not as cut off as some would like the world to believe. Yes there is or was a US embargo but plenty of other countries traded and allowed entry of dual role technologies into and out of Cuba.
Same for North Korea. There are embargoes by some but the Hermit Kingdom is not as Hermit as you might think they operate there own international air line, although considered the worst in the world. They allow flights in and out. North Korean officials have had dealings around the world and have trade with a number of nations in various industries as well as prohibited items such as arms of both conventional and nonconventional. As to getting them into the AOR again the most likely would be connections between North Korea and Iran.

If the Cubans were able to intervene, successfully, in Africa, the inhabited continent that is least integrated into global communications and travel networks, and in the 80's no less, I'm sure that national sea and airlines, along with transport assistance from sympathetic nations could be accomplished. ​

The main role of Cuba in Africa, beside continuing to send a lot of medical personal, was from 1976 helping Angola fight the South African invasion and so helping destroy the Apartheid regime.

Once the last remaining pockets of terrorists have been liberated a significant amount of soldiers/pro-government militias can be deployed to the north or south.


Hezbollah captures all of Jaroud Jarajeer in the Qalamoun

It did not take long for Hezbollah and the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) to impose full-control over the strategic region of Jaroud Jarajeer in the Qalamoun Mountains, as the aforementioned forces steamrolled the militants of the Syrian Al-Qaeda group “Jabhat Al-Nusra” in a matter of two and a half weeks.

On Thursday morning, the Lebanese Resistance (Hezbollah) – in coordination with the National Defense Forces (NDF) and the Syrian Arab Army’s 20th and 128th Brigades of the 1st Armored Division – stormed the remaining hills between Jaroud Jarajeer and Jaroud Qarah, killing 22 enemy combatants from Jabhat Al-Nusra before the latter was forced to withdraw towards the Lebanese border-crossing.

In addition to their success at Jaroud Jarajeer, the Lebanese Resistance destroyed a weapons depot that belonged to the militants of the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) at the southern axis of the Arsal Barrens, resulting in the reported death of 18 enemy combatants from the terrorist group on Friday afternoon.

With Hezbollah’s success at Jaroud ‘Arsal and the joint offensive at Jaroud Jarajeer, the Syrian Armed Forces and the Lebanese Resistance are now in control of over 240 square kilometers of territory in the Qalamoun Mountains of Syria and Lebanon, leaving only a small parcel of land under the control of the terrorist groups.

The aircraft was part of the 162nd Wing Arizona Air National Guard. The unidentified pilot, whose status has not been revealed, was the only person on board during the crash, military officials said.

Saudi supported group Jaish al-Islam executed captured ISIS prisoners. Notice that ISIS guys had their faces covered so they cannot become martyrs. Executioners wear orange jumpsuits what ISIS forces their prisoners to wear (as we have seen in their execution videos) and do not cover their faces like ISIS does.

Role reversal except that these ISIS prisoners' head are not lopped off.
