I agree. For the most part ramadi has been pro government and not ISIS sympathizers. I'm afraid the revenge killing and torture of men, women and children by ISIS will be unrelentless and cruel beyond believe.
I doubt they are pro-government and anti-ISIS . That city has over 400 000 inhabitants. It would be easy to form local militia division of at least 10 000 fighters to fight Islamists. There are plenty of weapons out there, especially infantry weapons and they would have advantage of knowing local terrain . As it stands, most of Iraqi Sunnis dislike both government (they consider it Shia-dominated ) and ISIS . They are sitting on sidelines waiting for victor to emerge .
