Obviously, no, the Type 21 comes in three sizes. Special forces actually have more and more self-purchasing rights and budgets in the past 5 years. We can see in a lot of photos that SF including Jiaolong uses many unofficial or non-21 gear and other equipment.

I don't know where this guy got the information about Jiaolong, Epoch Times?
I dont know which one is worse they being lazy buying one size only or not knowing how to adjust the vest. whatever it is both are not a good look.

That's quite a novel place to strap on a knife/bayonet. Not sure what they're trying to do, but they should probably stop.

The answer is already in this picture. Why did he post four images but you only shared two in this thread? Notice the soldier on the left holding a traditional Chinese-style sword? They’re doing this purely because they’re rehearsing for a cultural performance.

Yeah, that's really plausible. Notice the shopping bag? Maybe they went shopping. What length will you go to to make excuses? Was gripping rifles by the barrel and gas block also a cultural performance?

I gave you the answer, but you accused me of making excuses and even dragged in things completely unrelated to these pictures. It’s utterly absurd and ridiculous.

You gave me an excuse. Pardon me if I don't trust you: you have a nasty habit of shamelessly lying through your teeth.

You have a shameless habit of indiscriminately smearing the PLA and PAP with such photos to feed your own vanity—even when the original creators of these images have already clarified the context in which they were taken

Oh please, you have done far more to 'smear' the Chinese military than I could ever in a lifetime, even if I tried. You're the one who has indiscriminately posted hundreds and hundres of lame images, many of which depict the PLAGF/PAP in a very negative light by showing their lack of basic training and competence. Maybe you should look at yourself in the mirror first.

Back to the images at hand. The poster said, "这带刀方式,应该是要做汇演或者表演的吧", which translates to "this way of strapping on knifes, done for show or a performance?" Anybody who's not stupid can clearly see that this is entirely his speculation. Given the OP's Weibo feed is full of sarcastic commentary on and funny images of PLAGF/PAP incompetence, it's not unreasonable to even interpret his speculation as yet another sarcastic comment.

Of course, his clarification –– which again was a speculation –– that this could indeed be for a performance came 25 hours and 15 minutes after he had originally posted the images and 3 hours and 51 minutes after I had shared them here. So don't blame me for not seeing into the future. Again, there is no proof that these soldiers were on their way to or back from a 'cultural performance'; it was merely OP's speculation. So stop lying by presenting his speculation as a definitely statement. As a former PAP soldier, your dishonest is a poor reflection on the PAP as a service branch.
