, a soldier is seen wearing a lighter coloured uniform underneath, with a darker plate carrier. This is in line with what I have seen from repro websites such as royaltigergear, and I am wondering as to the reason. It would also be helpful if anyone could clear up the differences between Type-19 and 21, for that might be causing the discrepancy. Is it possible that the plate carriers remain Type-19 while Type-21 BDUs are also being issued?

I am new here.

All the summer load vest/plate carriers have darker shades than the BDUs. I believe that is the case from day one.

What is the uniform for PLA Navy while they r on the ship after the new type 21 was introduced? What about Air Force workers such as technicians? Both of these do not need to wear camo

Dark blue uniform while on the ship and regular BDU onshore.

Sorry for the sharp language, but what looks different?
Completely removed the Kevlar layer's loading capacity and became a purely plate carrier

And seems changed from Velcro tape to a kind of quick-release buckle

I am more curious about where the products from, considering that generally PLA are not buying design products from private contractors like PAP does.
