"It's cheaper for Chinese to just replace the soldier"
"These helmets are just for show."
No matter the empirical evidence, these people are not gonna change.

Damn, they really vomited out all of the low IQ stereotypes in that video huh. If they said similar shit with a helmet made in any African country, they sure as hell would be banned from YT. It's amazing how normalised anti-Chinese racism is.

What, did you expect the white supremacist to like us? Literally, just look at their friend group or who they hang out with. It was just a couple of videos back when they were screaming "die, commie" while shooting into the trees with a Vietnam war-era weapon. The racist mentality never left. They treat everyone that ain't white or has different beliefs like subhuman. Looking for decency in those people is a lost cause.
Remember that not everybody likes you and you do not have to like them. If they are that way, then let them go that way. If I were you, I would just brush it aside and not get triggered by it since he did his job on providing a good overview of the helmet. As Deng Xiaoping once said, "Black cat or white cat, if it can catch mice, it's a good cat".

The main takeaway from this video is that the Chinese helmet seems to be overall good. His tests are pretty good since he used American ammunition and weaponry to test the helmet, and the helmet did just as well as its opposing contemporaries did. So the average Chinese infantryman can now be more confident in their equipment than before. Now, I am just waiting for Oxide's video.

I'm going to let the video stay up simply because it technically does seem to be a couple of genuine article helmets they got, and even though the video content is full of fluff and content creator padding, it's still a decent attempt at a test and the opinions of the GT are ultimately still coming from a place of experience albeit biased of course.
(For those who don't know, he is ex USAF TACP)

I'm going to delete a number of posts that comment on the unnecessary parts of the video, because this thread isn't here for that.

I prefer Garand Thumb over Trash and Purpose, while they are cracking jokes about China at least they are honest about what is at their display without making false statements that they deem as a fact. This video will certainly be an eyeopener for many people who view Chinese made Mil-spec quality as the stereotype trope says " cheap and easily broken "

Meanwhile trash and purpose keeps dishing out garbage D riding the living shit out of Anti Pro China sources.. the fact they believe a false claim made by some low life furry with zero knowledge of firearms straight from twitter/X claiming the QBZ19 " Rifle is keyholing.. " isn't a shocker as long its " China bad " its instantly the truth.

This doesn't seem to be the case with Garand, him and his team seem more genuine than the bunch.

Risking going off topic, I personally do not post ANY YouTube videos or articles about Chinese military equipment unless either:
1. I deem its analysis be very useful and not tainted by bias (fanboyism or hatred) based on the knowledge and experience that I gathered over the years.
or
2. It is created by well-established analysts or knowledgable military fans that are vetted by or found in this forum.

Would love to see more widespread NVG use but frankly it seems adoption has been really slow.
You can see pretty much the entire manufacturing process for this integrated NVG on bilibili here. Some pretty cool stuff. Also the playlist contains the manufacturing process of a bunch of other stuff.

, a soldier is seen wearing a lighter coloured uniform underneath, with a darker plate carrier. This is in line with what I have seen from repro websites such as royaltigergear, and I am wondering as to the reason. It would also be helpful if anyone could clear up the differences between Type-19 and 21, for that might be causing the discrepancy. Is it possible that the plate carriers remain Type-19 while Type-21 BDUs are also being issued?

I am new here.
