What headsets are these? And are they standard issue or only for specific units?
They're Earmor M32 Milpros and I'd hesitate to call them standard issue as the PLA is currently adopting an in-ear hearing protection/commo solution that has seen at least 2 revisions thus far and PLA artillery personnel have been fielding their own active earpro for awhile now which includes older MSA models/clones.

Augmented reality goggles. I don't remember seeing this particular model before.

Do these provide night vision capabilities at all? Or are NVGs able to be installed over the AR mount?

The Halo game UI elements are kinda funny however only add to the cheapness of Hololens clones like these. Having been hands on with Hololens 2, even higher end AR devices are still a ways off from being particularly useable in an active field setting without serious drawbacks.

They provide no night vision capability without dedicated sensors being added on beyond the baseline tracking sensors, and you wouldn't be able to get the proper eye relief with normal NODs mounted over top of an AR headset, also the additional weight/balance trying it would be very unpleasant for the end user.

PLA are likely just testing things out with these systems.

What matters at this iteration is the proof of concept. Such the said hardware present a preferable possibility, then comes the necessary funding and resources to realize such in a more workable hardware setup, in a few years time...
