You do realize there are plenty of Chinese optics manufactures (some whom I've even worked around) who produce perfectly usable & in some cases quality clones with the appropriate trademarks. Especially as most of these items fall under export restrictions hence the popularity of cloned optics/attachments.
These people don't buy replicas, they are legitimate they even own American firearms.from which is America not Norinco ones.

Here's that AR goggle again, which can display video feed (with reticle) from the rifle scope and thereby allowing the soldier to shoot around the corner.

Here's some pretty detailed info on the Type-19 helmet cropped from a PLA supplier's manual. It goes into a bit of everything from text results / results to durability.

This said, I still can't really figure out the precise level of protection offered by the Type-19, especially compared to different generations US helmets like the PASGT, ACH / ECH, IHIPS etc. (which depending on the blogger or "expert" you're listening to, ranges anything from late PASGT level to somewhere between the ECH and IHPS).

Is there any further info or data (range / testing results, official docs, producer stuff...) regarding the Type-19 / Type-15 I can dig into? Would very interesting to know
