That would thing is going to have some heft to it. The handle is so you can easily pull it back up if it ends up flat on the ground (for example if you had to drop it to free you hand to grab weapons/gear/teammates etc.Why is the handlebar like thing facing the front for? Seem that it just give people a convenience spot to grab and try pull the shield away from you.
