Interesting.
the under body armor combat shirt. sleeve pockets are like those on US Army models that moved to a vertical zipper rather than a horizontal flap. zipper collar for closed up under armor wear.
under the elbow seems to be a Velcro band I am guessing they intend to use that for elbow pads. No name tags or rank visible.

Riggers belt.
Looks like the trousers have knee pads in a similar way to the shirt. Also looks like they tuck the trousers into the boots as opposed to the boots into the trousers.
no back pockets on the trousers which is logical for combat pants as opposed to daily wear uniform trousers.
Wonder if the made it FR. Before the comments on “Why wouldn’t they” a few nations don’t bother primarily as the laundering becomes difficult and if improperly washed they fall apart like warn out dried up duct tape. Besides it’s expensive,

Some finer details of the new combat uniforms.
For sake of comparison because there seems to me to clearly have been some influence happening again.
If you just want to skip to the critical part @12:00.
Similarities the Shoulder pockets, Simplified fold down mandarin collar (still flip up but no Velcro closure), Rank ensignia and identifying patches locations, restoration of sleeve buttons.
differences, the PLA set doesn’t have the IR tabs, they retain the knee and elbow pad pockets, sleeve buttons are more conventional, rather than a Velcro square rank ensignia appears to mount to a tab Similar to the USN NWU or Royal Navy action uniform where the Tab is basically an epaulet on the chest. We see that the sun hat has a much wider brim and oddly they put a patch on it. These are normally field wear meant less for formation more for actual work the patch seems unnecessary. We see that in the previous Type 07 thet they did the same thing with the helmet. Although this was also done in the west the second night vision mounts appeared on helmets the insignia which was more of a hold over from the days of Pith helmets and old world caps became sense less. It was going to be covered by the NOD mount. Infantry Combat Equipment (non-firearm): Vests, Body Armor, NVGs, etc.
