US political performance may have been funny, but USAF bombed whatever requested more or less at will.

It isn't very intellectual, but USAF is a consistent source of factual bragging rights. Population and politicians of US have reasons to belief in USAF in a way in which most air forces are just not.
IAF already thought too much of themselves, and as a result now are stuck with hopelessly broken procurement policy. They aren't the only or even the most famous ones.

"At will" is doing a lot of heavy lifting considering how they were forced to be kept at stand-off range most of the time despite Iran AD capabilities being a question mark, with little to show for it in the way of actually affecting Iran's ability to wage war and inflict damage on US and Israeli assets, to the point of having an ancient aircrafts conduct raids on an american bases and be able to return. Air power doesn't mean much if you can't achieve any of the strategic goals you set out for yourself and now your geopolitical position in the region is worse than what is was before the war.

Sure, it might provide some nifty tiktok videos set to brazilian phonk, but thats about it unless their goal is just to kill women and children.

The question is whether anything more substantial could be done, with lower losses, in these operational conditions.

Yes, it's fair to say that Israeli air force achieves more results with less, at a lesser loss rate.

But for any other air force around, ability to do anything similar is in realm of speculations. Or, to be exact, we can speculate about exactly one additional a/force that can. It's still a gross speculation, but dark horses sometimes do happen.
Everyone else is simply delusional.

All that but Indian bhakts deny. Who cares though. Reality is you guys have 3 to 4 fewer Rafales. Someone has to pay that tax.

If Indians are happy their $100M+ fighters are being shot down so easily while they pretend nothings wrong. Who cares?

The statements made by Subramanian Swamy in his personal capacity are irrelevant here. What matters is the official Government of India tender seeking maintenance support for all 36 Rafale fighters. The company awarded the contract will maintain the entire fleet and will be paid millions of dollars over each aircraft's service life. To execute the contract, the contractor will have access to all 36 Rafales, including their manufacturing dates, induction dates, flight hours, and serial numbers. If the official tender specifies 36 Rafales, then it means 36 Rafales. There is no room for speculation or doubt about the number mentioned in an official government document.
