Lots of talk of proximity fuse and warheads not designed to detonate unless certain components installed which apparently were not due to this being exercise. So on.
That is easily proven a lie, AKA copium. If it were true, why would the MICA IR missile hit and explode? Also doesn't explain the failure of both AKASH anti-air missile and the failed SAMAR (I think this is a ground adaptation of the R-73 missile)

I can't believe you made me watch that joke of an "arms demonstration" lmao. (more like drop dumb bombs demonstration)

Alright,

Missed? Griffin LGB at 39:25

I think there was a miss at 39:40

At 43:50 it looks like they rigged it to detonate cause I didn't see and explosions near the vehicle and it detonated before the rockets arrived.

Also at 45:34 WTF was those after explosions that look like they came from underground? Did they manually blow too since the explosions are so different? The initial bomb drops don't kick up a lot of dirt while the second explosion looks like it came from underground (also according to the info they should be dropping normal 1000lbs dumb bombs.)

Bro literally missed literally everything at 47:11 from a freaking helicopter.

Again, miss at 48:22 from a rocket pod salvo, also WTF is that dispersion, I've seen videos of Su-25's lobbing these unguided rockets and they are so much more accurate. Bruz is shooting from like 1-2ks away and missing.

Literally missed everything at 48:50

Missed R-73 at 52:00

Missed dumb bombs at 54:00 Also WTF, they didn't explode?

Completely missed (missile failed) IR guided missile at 1:20:28 . LMAO cut to commercial after it missed.

2x AKASH missiles failed (1 engine failure? other just decided to go to narnia) 2:12:00

--------------------------------------------------------

LMAO, they use school buses as an icon for "vehicle convoy". Bruh how low budget is this? I swear it looks like they were using clip art for the illustrations.

Question, is the loitering munition used in 1:18:16 an IAI Harop?

Also WTF is up with that target drone bellowing red smoke from its engine at 1:20:02?

----------------------------------------------------------

I cannot believe I actually watched this embarrassing joke of a "Fire Power Demonstration". Literally 99% of it was dumb bombs or unguided missiles. They fired like 9 guided weapons (Hellfire x2 , R-73 x 2 i think, 1x MICA IR missile, 2x AKASH, 1x "Loitering Munition" and 1x SAMAR) of those weapons fired the SAMAR x1 Missed, 1x R-73 Missed, 2x AKASH failed. They also missed a bunch of unguided munitions LMAO. Also several targets clearly were rigged and blown up manually to cover up their incompetence.

Funnily enough, due to their incompetence, it was obvious to tell the difference from an explosion that came from underground (aka rigged to blow) and an actual bomb. Also They keep on not showing moments before the explosion, I suspect they are trying to cover up their misses with those cuts.

Also those commentators fellating themselves when the missiles clearly failed and the copium from the YT comments saying that "it will not hit because it is a simulation". BRUHHHHH.
How dare you question the competence of one and only supapowa. Clearly the missiles are so powerful they went underground then exploded to do extra damage. It's more advanced than anything the seeseepee can come up with so we wumaos can't comprehend it.

Oh man, what a shitshow.

The Pakistanis and Chinese are laughing their asses off literally. There is not much to fear from them Indians when their ordinance has the same reliability as Falkland war Argentina.

The only systems that seem to be working correctly are the western ones.

This is another humiliation on par as the one on 27/2/19.

For the R-73/Samar misses, the commentator said "the proximity fuse would have triggered in actual combat with the larger signature from the enemy aircraft" which is hilarious because it implies it cannot effectively engage cruise missiles, glide bombs or drones.

The original R-73 is several decades old and obsolete at this point.
In the "fire power demo" they were literally shooting a drone with extra IR signature flare in slow, level flight at very short range. I believe the R-73 is the only WVR missile in India service other than the Rafale-exclusive MICA.

This is the exact model of the target drone.

My word, that "Fire Power Demo" was a good laugh. All that hype. All that pride. Missiles, rockets, and bombs were missing their targets. Bombs detonating inconsistently. And the Jai Hinds shamelessly claiming that those misses and duds where "intentional". Typical Indian wordplay for excuses. This reminded me of that farcical "Swarm Attack Drone Demo" years back where we see quadcopter drones dropping grenades on exploding wooden tanks. It seems like India have improved little, if any at all since then.

The bombs were inconsistent. Some waited for seconds before exploding, some never explode, and some explode per usual. If this was intentional by the Indians, then what is the point? Why make your LGB inert? The guidance system will still be gone even if the bomb is inert. Later on, there were live detonation of other munitions anyway. Were some of those bombs actually duds, and the pre-planted explosives in the ground were the backup plan? If so, the health of the munitions in the Indian stockpile doesn't look good. So much for war readiness. Most of the bombs dropped in the demo were actually dumb bombs dropped from low altitudes. There were only a few PGMs in this demonstration. Were they too precious to expend in this demonstration? This an airforce who proclaims itself to be amongst the best in the world and ridicules the PLAAF. Yet it resorts to mostly old-fashioned low-altitude dumb bomb bombing runs. Yeah, a real Supapowar air force.

The SAM missiles not detonating were clearly misses. The Rafael's MICA detonated as per usual, but the "Indian missiles" didn't, because they clearly missed. India talks alot about their self-developed weapons, and the SAMAR and AKASH sums up their efforts. Both systems use outdated Russian missiles. Those missiles performed poorly against slow-moving target drones. A terrible showcase of their quality. If Armenia is watching that, they'd better ask for a refund. Can you trust that AKASH you just bought against the TB2s? It can't even hit target drones. The SAMAR for me for me is lazy R&D. Its inducted into service in 2022, so its supposedly brand new. They've basically put naked R-73s onto rails mounted on a truck, no missile cannisters. Something that even the Houthis' could have done so themselves in a workshop. For a Supapowar to do this is, LOL! This is what the Modi era is all about. Lot's of talk, but very little work to show for it.

Speaking about drones, when we get the IR UAV view of the target, its like we were viewing it from a UAV from the 2000s. The resolution is poor today's standards. A TB2 had better resolution than that. India still doesn't have modern MALE and HALE drones in 2024. It is still struggling to procure MQ-9Bs from the US despite hyping up drone warfare in 2020. Compared to the nation that it claims to rival, there is just no contest.

India can only compare its military to other third world nations. Its mentality, capability, and competence belongs in the league of 3rd world militaries. Till today, it is still heavily reliant on foreign suppliers. Its indigenous R&D is getting from bad to worse. All of India's greatest pride today like the the Tejas, Akash, Brahmos, etc were "developed" decades ago with generous inputs from foreign suppliers, and all not under Modi's reign. Despite the new toys and numerous joint training exercises, India's military quality looks to be declining, even when there is not much quality to begin with. India in the Modi era is celebrating mediocrity, finding excuses, and spinning defeats into "victories". Its not a professional military, its a clown show.
