The fake news is spread about a fictional delivery of Swathi WLR. A clear fake news is spreaded. Beware of it. Don't get trap into such Fake News. The below article also high lights such fake news is being spreaded. Armenia has denied such reports. And there in no reporting of the Swathi WLR in the lost and damaged hardware list.

As I already stated its worrying in past three year this is the second crash. The first crash of the Mig 29 K happend in 2011 during the delivery time in Russia and unfortunately two Pilots lost their life. Pray for the the commander still missing in this crash.

I assume the MiG-29K has run into a flock of birds. Both engines suffered extensive damages and flamed out. And the pilots had to eject.

Same thing happened last time in Goa.

Can't say until more funds are available a single hornet fly away cost is around 70 million dollars 36 are planned. That means just 2.5 billion dollars as the fly away cost plus additional cost like spare parts, training, Simulators, Weapons, and infrastructures cost. Then easily could add to a total cost around 5 billion us dollars. And navy is focusing on more surface vessel and submarines.
