The beauty is they will refuse to see it that way and find comfort in denigrating other people to make themselves feel better about the sandcastle they built around their heads. I'm sure there are ones who are nothing like this, but military forums are filled with these chauvinistic idiots. The same actually applies to Chinese and Pakistani forums. Thankfully, we have some level headed people here who are not against discussing and criticising Chinese efforts when reason calls.
Watch in the coming years or decades, as India goes around shopping for >10K T destroyers/cruisers. FGFA will likely go ahead since it's the only financially realistic option and should offer great improvement to IAF capabilities. They'll also shop for new subs and munitions and sensors to go with these new weapons. Same old. This made in India movement Modi wants to instill nationalism with will likely not reap many benefits if any. We'll see. Indians certainly are capable of great things. They have in the past but democracy has worked against them and unfortunately the Brits really screwed them over. Even this unfortunate division of India into these separate countries has its impacts. At least when done by the Brits.
