India been catching Ls lately. Here's the latest one. Safe to say, Chinese air dominance over the Himalayas will remain.

Another signal that the US won't give India the same treatment it gave to China during the 1990s and 2000s. Moreover, India is much further behind in its arms industry development than China was during a similar stage of development.

Indian elites still retain a crippling delusion that foreign arms manufacturers will just give away their crown jewels because India is simply too big and important or something. Needless to say, this fantasy has not been borne out and there's no indication that it will any time in the future either.

The best India can do is to have Indian students in America or Europe absorbed as much knowledge as possible through postdoctoral research, academic research and work experience then bring all of that back home to develop their motherland.

USA isn't going to outsource manufacturers oversea like they did during 2000s.

Steve Hanke interview in Mint, one of his hypothesis is that, maybe, Trump is getting closer to Pak and acts like that w lndia, is maybe, US wants to use Pak airbase near lran border for their next attack on T3hran.. (but wasnt Pak helpful to lran last time?)

I highly doubt Pakistan would aid any attack against Iran. Having one unstable neighbor is bad enough and many Pakistani officials believe even aiding US as the launchpad of the Afghan War was a disastrous mistake. And they are aware of Pakistan being next after Iran in Israeli crosshairs, as Israeli leaders have openly admitted.

US still has leverage in Pakistan and probably the latter is used a rope in a tug-of-war between US and China.

I'm still waiting for those 2015 MoU's to materialize when Modi visited China to show India is not excluded from CPEC.
