China's computing has actually surpassed most of the west in the last decade. China's telecomm has long been leading edge and clearly surpassed everyone now. China's energy storage, renewables, car making, space, electronics... all somewhere.
India cannot stop bragging these desperate sad Indians cannot stop claiming and bragging. India makes and has absolute shit all in tech. Nothing. Na da. Zilch.
Where is India's Huawei? India's airliner projects? India's GNS? India's BYD? India's Sunway? India's exported weapons? India's mars rover? India's moon rover? India's smartphones? India's computers? India's semiconductors? India's CATL? India's Hisense? India's Nio? and literally a thousand more examples.
India has attempts and they will use a tiny example to claim major victories when put into context those examples are illustrative of desperate laughable failures and actually imported ... everythings.
India has not been able to deliver something equivalent to Midea... let alone anything of impressive capability. Like for real... get real. India is a nobody nothing at the moment. Indians truly are epically desperate for talk and bravado but day by day their decline is actually evident. They haven't even started to properly set off by building the foundations of a functional society but they will point, laugh, and criticize others all day long non stop in areas they themselves are sorely lacking and hopeless at. Pick an industry, literally any, spend 1 year studying it thoroughly and without bias... you will reach the conclusion that China is well ahead of India comprehensively. India has a lot of sound bytes and cheerleaders (Indians and western liberals) but no real substance. India will say it has xyz and can do abc correctly, properly, sincerely bs and China does the opposite and has no achievements and no ability. Meanwhile an increasing number of "western" tech these days are actually Chinese sourced, Chinese developed, Chinese owned. In fact if you take a look at a lot of western tech and academic side breakthroughs and papers, many to most are done by ethnic Chinese ... not Indians. Indians sure talk a lot about it all over the English internet that's for sure.
Look at stats, records, results, rankings, journals, IP, everything... look at them carefully and weigh them up. Measure against other sources of evidence to build a clear picture. If the US is a 99 overall and China a 90, India is quite literally at best a 20. A 20 that still has more significant social ills than China and a 20 that has over 70% of its population surviving on less than $5 a day and 60% without access to piped water and sanitation. With 50% barely literate.
