Even though the Indians have heavily accented English, they still have an advantage over those that know very little English, especially in North America. Chinese worldwide need to equip themselves with basic English for argument and rebuke against the Indians and western racists.
The most basic "English words" that any Chinese should learn to retort to the delusional Indians and would be racists is to pronounce Dongfeng Missiles like DF-11 clearly with a smile. The rest can be learn with practice.

You need a large pool of educated workers fluent in English. While China's educated pool is much greater than India's, their English skills are subpar for the most part. High-end services is really India's forté. A very small slice of the population is active but they're good at what they do. Or at least good enough given low wages.

Service sector exports in general is a weakness in East Asia and I think it's partly an issue with language barriers.
On the bright side, lack of English language skills made Chinese youth miss out slaving on gig economy and pushed them towards domestic manufacturing.

You'd have had millions of them competing to provide 5 dollar WordPress design and SEO services to westerners on sites like fiverr and Freelancer.

China has literally no representation in any of the global social media and even the foreign ministry uses dated commie terms that only resonate with boomers. Qatar has more formidable PR than China.

I literally see Chinese videos all over Youtube, Facebook, and Instagram. I guess the more I watch the more they recommend. I must be a boomer in my 30's...

If PR is defined as being no challenge or threat to anyone or anything.
