Imagine if such scene were of Chinese people lining up in other parts of the world desperately applying for jobs. The see see Pee and China Collapsing will be unrelenting.

India gets a pass and has been declaring victory of some sorts when the reality for India is still somewhat challenging and grim.

Indians either lining up looking for jobs, or getting on the local trains

Hindus are the crackheads of the world. They openly talk about killing Muslims, yet they flock to Muslim countries in the millions. India was only great under Muslim rule, but unfortunately that era ended a long time ago.

I have watched this Indian fellow's assessment of his country's economic and political future and boy oh boy this man, Jayanti Bhandari is very much against his country's political structure and economic future. He's India's own "Gordon Chang."

While I can have some semblance of agreement on some of the things he mentioned about India's economic, societal, and political structures I don't agree on the merit of what he said that India would be faring better if it was run by her former colonial master which was the U.K.

I said semblance based on his observation that India will become increasingly devolve into tribal factions which means inevitable conflict and we're seeing some of that conflict to the fore as what is going on in Manipur. The governance and governing of India by all political parties are based on promising unreasonable and unrealistic goals like providing every Indian an equivalent sum of $22,000 per Indian person as what Modi made during his election campaign when he first began his tenure as P.M. For a country with a per capita income of $2,000 the chances of every Indians receiving $22,000 is just nuts. But such tactic is what's going to provide the political parties votes since the super majority of people in India are supposedly stuck in superstitious beliefs and a large chunk of its people are still uneducated and the educated one's are high-strung from their self-inflicted delusions of grandeur making boastful pronouncements of "Jai Hind."

Now, inevitably some people here might ask what's the purpose of this video and commentary? Is the intention here to simply post another bash India commentary and therefore just fueling the already negative sentiment most members here have against India which is unproductive and is not conducive to a better understanding of the said country?

My answer is no, but I can understand why people can and maybe will arrive to that conclusion. I beg to differ in the strongest possible sense since what I am trying to post here is an opinion of and from someone that has a strong and very critical view of India's supposed economic growth, the much touted political structure and system that's been marketed by the West along with the almost automatic assumption that India's now biggest population called population surplus/dividend will work immensely to its advantage therefore will not only match but even exceed China's place in the economic standing both quantitatively and qualitatively. This line of thinking has blanketed our traditional and social media sphere with backing and support from the usual suspects with almost no regard for the actual truth and Jayant Bhandari has been one of the few lone exceptions on this information sphere and in my view his comments, insights must be taken with an objective listen, especially from a person that was actually born, raised, and does still live in India very much unlike a certain Gordon Chang who was born and bred in the west; a man with no cultural link, nor intimate deep experience of China from it's impoverished state as well as familiarity with the Chinese language. His claim to fame is that his father was of Chinese descent and his used that as his shtick as some kind of expert on everything China despite his track record of failed anti-China prognostications.

Why would India fare better under the yoke of the UK? They plundered the nation for a century and a half and you seriously think that they wouldn't continue doing that into the present day, albeit in slightly more discreet forms? Just look at the former French colonies in Africa and how badly they've been exploited.

Sir for them its their high watermark in their country history, the British Raj is an amalgamation of different ethnicity and tribe as describe by @Bellum_Romanum. You can see from the map in their parliament which indicated the past glory of Greater India (East India Company).

They can't accept its past history which was dominated by the Mughal Empire, so the country is farce to begin with and their leaning to their British colonizer is a way of legitimizing the Hindu elite hold on power.

Folks have to understand that having a lot of territory under your control doesn't mean you're prospering. India under the British wasn't doing well. But the reason for India's decline happened well before the British came in, which is why India got colonised in the first place.

I think there's a convenient tendency among Indians to blame all their problems on colonialism or moslem invasions. They didn't help, but Indians should ask themselves how come they were so weak in the first place. China even during the century of humiliation never was subject to direct colonial control by any Western nation the way India was first under the British.

Bro there is NO Indian identity, Its was created by the British. What hold it together is an idea of recreating or continuing the British Raj. I had a talk with a Tamil family in Maldives during my vacation and had learned a lot as they explain the situation in India. They are complaining that the North are fleecing them of their hard earn money with NO DEVELOPMENT in return. They will secede if given a chance but is unwillingly to do so because the Tamil elites are politically capture and are corrupt. So the only solution is to migrate and leave the shithole to a greener pasture.
