You know, this is the only incidence of gay bashing in China that I have ever come across.

Actually, this probably does not even qualify as gay bashing.

Do not know what this is.

Next time, they should smarten up, and not do such things in public.

They could promote it, sell tickets, it would be like the main event. Sort of like WWF.

Spartans were pretty into homosexuality so it's not a big own that the gay Thebens beat them, well beyond being defeated in battle.
Theban Sacred Band = openly, mandatorily gay. Spartans = keep-it-on-the-low gay. They didn't have post-op trannies back then, which are another step up in the gay ladder (gladder), so this is about as perfect as it gets as a comparison to what we saw. Mainland post op tranny beats down Cockroach gay guy.

In the US homophobia is based on fear of not looking masculine therefore acting against those who are gay is the easiest way of superficially declaring you're not gay. In China its about not furthering the family line which does not tend to lean towards violence. Here it was about politics between two people that happened to be gay.

Joshua Wong should get much more than that, he will never get hired by anybody in HK, Macao or China ... even Taiwan didn't want him ... he is simply a trouble maker, no other skills for real work

When he will get free? .. hopefully another trial for something else when he is free
