Hong-Kong Protests

No, it wasn't smart at all for this consul to do what he did. It is just another blunt action without any fitness that produces no desire results but more of the opposite. So what that a protestor feels a bit of pain for a few days? But now medias can write more smear articles, protestors get more media visibility and which will result in more protests. So, instead, they should tried to identify those protestors (without violating their right to protest in UK) and then block their return to Hong Kong and China for the next decades or so.
These “protesters” were essentially obstructing the entrance to the Consulate General, so the Consulate General has every right to remove the signs. In addition, according to the Twitter thread posted by @daifo , these “protesters” started the fight. As for the Western media, they smear China 24/7 with genocide claims and other crud. Why should the Chinese even care about what they say? I’m surprised that the Chinese haven’t expelled all of them from the country and placed them along with their staff on a ban list.

its irrelevant what he did, he just showed the roach it's place. In the grand scheme of things its not relevant what he did or didn't do. If UK wants to keep supporting terrorism within China, it will keep doing so and also keep taking real human losses through a destroyed economy. Or it can come clean and some sort of accord can be made.

When you make an action, you want to achieve some desirable result. So, what are some end results this diplomat wants to achieve? To make these protests become meaningless, fade away and stop, right? So, taking a protests sign doesn't do that. Rough up a protests doesn't do that. Even though medias are already writing smear articles about China with these HK protests but now you are given them more ammos. It is exactly what these protestors want.

For me, I think the most effective way against/hurting these protestors is to stop issuing visas to these protestors (and maybe even their immediate family members) from visiting/working in HK/china for few decades.

The Chinese at this point could care less about these rioters since they are away from Hong Kong. They have been neutralized as a threat and can now be considered a nuisance. Protests like this will always happen, but they have no effect as long as they aren't in areas that can become breeding grounds for terrorists.

The Chinese already did that. It's called "not recognizing their BNO's", which is worse than rejecting visas. With this in mind, they most likely also put them on a ban list.

The terrorist are still planning actions in HK. They need to give these people 10 years to life NOW as a deterent rather than these 3 , 4 year joke sentence. You suffered more while going to some grade schools than sitting around in prison!
