Balls from steel by this consul, good at dealing with HK Hanjians

Ain't anything pro democratic about an autocratic oligarchy appointing a dictator to rule you under a brutal system where your human worth is determined based on the color of your skin.

The consulate worker was just following the time honored communist tradition of tearing down symbols of the fash whenever they see them.

A peaceful and prosperous Hong Kong is still a very powerful advert for Taiwan. Far fewer people will want to fight for independence, knowing that they'll lose everything, if there's a good alternative available

Very few people in Hong Kong and Taiwan are actually willing to fight for independence. The brainwashed ones think they just need to agitate with foreign support and they'll get independence served to them on a platter. Notice how all the Hong Kong "pro-independence" roaches ran away after the NSL.

they think China is like the Soviets. No, China originated from the Qin Empire and we know what the Qin did with their enemies.

No, it wasn't smart at all for this consul to do what he did. It is just another blunt action without any fitness that produces no desire results but more of the opposite. So what that a protestor feels a bit of pain for a few days? But now medias can write more smear articles, protestors get more media visibility and which will result in more protests. So, instead, they should tried to identify those protestors (without violating their right to protest in UK) and then block their return to Hong Kong and China for the next decades or so.

Ripping the sign was sorta badazz, but just inflames the situation. However, the other violence was then started with the protesters trying to retrieve their sign and rushing into the consulate.

These protests are just meaningless since it doesn't change anything but the only positive/negative is that the British now has to spend 10s of thousands of pounds adding security. IMO, HK should demand the visa they used to stay in the UK and just either denie them entry or ship them to the quarantine blocks for a year as they may be a security/terrorist threat.

Dude you think they wouldn’t be writing smearing articles if he did nothing?
