Thanks. Well there goes their sales. Here in the U.K. we buy vitasoy. But there is an alternative from Singapore. Yeos soybean drinks is the same maybe a little more sweeter.

What I mean is that it is heavy handed in the sense of they are actually enforcing it heavily (at the moment). Most other countries' national security laws are basically like a nuclear weapon which they save in their back pocket.
If you take the example of all the Chinese professors in the US being charged by the FBI, they are not actually formally charged for spying. They basically just ruin their career with an accusation, then actually charge them with something far more minor.
To actually put them in jail means going through the court and actually digging up the burden of proof. By not actually charging them with spying, you save the trouble of finding the evidence, but still achieve the goal of removing them. On top of this, you save the possibility of losing the case and making them innocent, so this black mark can stain them for good.
I don’t think I’m being clear enough. Those HKers that hate the CCP and mainland are a known quantity, this is a long standing feeling. What I’m getting at is how much deeper the influence has gotten. 20 year olds screaming and smashing stores in a frenzy, without experiencing a day in “free” British HK… yet they are taking it further than their parents who did live in colonial times ever did. It is seriously F’d up. With Islamic terrorism, the issue is so straightforward, but in HK, they have basically become rabid dogs, just foaming at the mouth… The only saving grace is maybe the cause is not as strong, the violence is not as bad,
