My Favorite:

-Nothing beats Nanjing style Duck, I am a duck fanatic, Duck ftw!(Peking duck is also ok.)

-Fried Rice(much fett and oil in it but I can't resist...)

-Kebab(what can u say, it's good:))

-Frogleg(hehe, frogleg is one of my favorite, except for duck, nothing beats it)

-HuangShan strimmed and steaked with peper(HuangShan is a snakelike fish I only seen in china)

-Squid(all squid is to my liking)

-Springroll with JiuYa in it(must be with JiuYa which is a specially taste chinese vegitable or I generally don't like reguler springroll)

-Sweetsour pork beef with vineger(a old reguler chinese dish)

-Honghong style Shrimp dumpling(My favorite Dimsum)

-Beef with Beanard sauce(Ate everykind of european dishes, italian is alot of wheat based cuisines, French is basicly just odd food with tasty but very fett sauce>.<, but really nothing beats the classic Beef with Bernard sauce or however it's spelled)

-Oh yeah, I love YaZhenGan, basicly specially made duck stomach, eastern china style(as I said I love duck:p, YaZhenGan is basicly my favorite snack, haha)

Not much of a fan of noodle though:p, that includes spagetti, LaMian or Udon.
I liked Japanese food a couple years ago, but now I am abit wary of at least the raw fish part of japanese cuisine, especially when with wasabi, everything taste same..., old Yakiniku is stll good though, if well made.

Yes, duck. And pigeon too! Love pigeon.

I remembered one time taking some friends out to dinner in Hong Kong. I ordered duck and pigeon. One guy was from Texas. He looked a bit flabbergasted at the thought of eating "pets", referring to the pigeons, but he gorged on them anyway. The other guy was from Kuwait. He looked like he was going to hell when the roasted birds was served. I wasn't familiar that there was some Middle East or Moslem custom that, as he explained, it was forbidden to eat an animal that was cooked with its head on. The animal must be beheaded cleanly, implying that the animal did not suffer much pain in its death before it is allowed to be eaten. Oh but he went ahead anyway, truly succumbing to sheer temptation, cui-"sin" over religion. The duck was that good.

I'm personally against eating Duck or Pigeon....

I find it disgusting....even though many say it tastes good.

Giant squid anyone?

I swear I ate one before. I actually don't know if it is a giant suid but the squid steak that I ate is at least more than 6 cm thick!!! What on earth is that? Menu say it is squid, taste like squid but more smelly. Cooked with lot of spice and taste good but got diarhea after eating it...actually might be an allergic reaction. Should have taken the pic of it before i left the restaurant. Anyway lots of weird food here that I ate but don't actually know what it is.

Regarding fried rice...they have the saying that chinese cook's real skill is measured on how well they can cook fried rice. Fried rice is the easiest and at the same time the hardest to cook well. The type of rice, the amounta and type of spices used and how well each individual rice grain is seperated after it is cooked are all crucial to judging how well cooked the fried rice is. One of my favorite is the rarely served Hainan coconut fried rice.

All of them, but my favorite is actually YanShuiYa, salt water duck, roasted duck is also nice, salted dried duck is ok but abit too salty sometimes:)

If you ever visit Los Angeles/Orange County, I can direct you to PH restaurants. We have Goldilocks, Red Ribbon, Chow King, Jollibee, etc. However the Jolibee in LA is even worse than the one in SM Mall Makati, except for fried chicken with rice and gravy

Plenty of Filipino resturants in National City CA. In south San Diego County..Great resturants,:) great food..:)

I live in Iowa now. My own choice. No Filipino resturants here..The "ethnic" resturants here are horribile...well the Chinese is ok...I asked one proprioter of a Chinese buffet resturant why some of the spice was missing out of his Szechuan cuisine..he said ..I quote and no offense to anyone.."The white people here are to sensitve to a lot of spices...So I tone it down a bit.."

Any one a fan of beef noodles? I tend to enjoy em with a bit of chilli to bring out that nice soup taste.
