Actually I was just being silly , but one day I went to the Delicatessen and bought some freshly made Italian pasta, stir fried minced chicken and pork with sweet chili and lime sauce and mixed it all in. with the pasta. I went easy with the cheese though.
Actually I enjoy Peking Duck. I attended the Peking Olympics, I must have eaten about at least 6 Peking Duck meals during my stay there.

Not bad but definitely easy on the cheese.
Yes Im definitely going to Expo 2010 in Shanghai, and if there is one of those super fast train thingys to Peking, Ill definitely will be on that, otherwise I might think about the Tibet train trip.. Its a pity they don't put on a first class luxury
steam train rides. I say First class because in 1995 I went on the Trans Siberian, boy that was rough/ and boring at times.

Right now I'm really love waking up in the morning and eating these Taiwanese Red Bean pies. They're sort of like pancakes but they're filled with delicious red bean paste! It goes pretty well with a cup of Bai Mu Dan white tea.

I read Paul Reynolds experience on a hard class train trip across China, didnt seem that bad.Ill see if my fiends willing to give it a try. He went with me to the Olympics, and he had spent about 6months learning Chinese phrases,. We never had to put it into use because the Chinese we interacted with spoke better English, then we could Chinese.

does that paste taste like the stuff you get in the steamed buns or you get some of that sweet pasty stuff you see in some of the desert cakes. I came across it in one of the moon cake thingys.

however i use to have a Chinese neighbour who made a steamed chinese turnip cake thingy, I didnt like the taste and then he made some with a vegetable called taro which was , so so. He then tried potato which wasnt bad. He had chopped up bacon in it, and then a betten up egg cut into strips placed on top..IT made good breakfast food, and tasted better a day or two old, when I would cut a slice and fry it up, yum. Unfortunately hes moved away, boy could with some

Yea, I love those too. 紅豆餅 or 銅鑼燒 two names same thing. Whats Bai Mu Dan White Tea?

Its a type of white tea from Fujian, until recently I usually just drank Japanese green tea, gunpowder tea or jasmine tea but I now think white teas are my favourite now
