I believe eventually H-6K with WS-18 will replace all old H-6x (currently ~120 in service) by 2020

really, H-6K can be called something else, a new generation bomber. Not that advanced, but do the job for PLAN and PLAAF

what's the point of having that many H-6K? Build a couple of regiments as stopgap and they should develop a new class.

i honestly hated old planes (other than the vintage ww2 fighters, bombers, f-86) because modern stuff looks cool. that said, i really don't like the h-6. it's an old airframe and all...however i must say, the h-6k is actually ok. they got rid of the glass nose, replaced with radome, did major overhaul internally, and seemed to feel like a modern bomber. it looks awesome

I reckon it to be a class of its own!

I like Victor and Vulcan Bombers, if they are still in production today, we will have a league of H-6, Victor and Vulcan.

Production of Vulcan and Victor ended in the mid '60's, nearly half a century ago.

Yeah, only if they are still flying today like H-6 and B-52, it will be quite a sight. V-Bombers were fabulous, I have been fascinated by them since 1970s when I was a kid.
