H-20 bomber (with H-X, JH-XX)

While it may not be the same image I am perplexed as to why the image is SO similar. That is either on purpose or there is zero content control at avic, so some eager artist just copied Northrop Grumman ad and no one at avic cares even to check.

But it's not. The bomber's shape is different, and creating an image with the general same theme but minute differences actually takes a lot of time.

Nah, totoro is kind of right.

The dark background, the lighting, the pattern of the lights, the way the aircraft's "shape" is covered in a mysterious tarp etc is obviously inspired/copied from the Northrop superbowl ad.

I wouldn't be surprised if that scene was made deliberately to ape it -- not because whoever made the video had copied the NG ad, but probably because they thought the NG ad was very cool and they lacked imagination to present the new aircraft in their own separately unique way.

Yes, of course I realize that the two videos are done in the same manner and to the same theme. It looks like that XAC is perhaps trying to make light (a hearty poke) of the situation, but I have to disagree with the notion that XAC "copied" the video merely because its editors were too lazy or careless.

This just popped up from an official AVIC promotional video. Note: this is not the same image from that Northrop Grumman super bowl commercial (I've compared the two and they are different).

Indeed ... the similarities are that great so that some surely again will cry "copy"... but since unfortunately I cannot open that link, how official is this video??

By the way, here's a comparison to NH's promo:

The video seems to be from XAC (???) or AVIC in general, so if that is true then this is as official as it gets. I have a strong feeling that they deliberately made the reveal as similar to that of the B-21 Raider as possible, if not out of spite then just as an expression of "friendly" rivalry.

I don't think they were lazy or careless, but I do think whoever made the video wanted to emulate that NG superbowl ad. It's almost like whoever made the video was trying to make the video "cool" but didn't completely know how.

It definitely wasn't light hearted, it anything the entire video takes itself too dramatically.

Yes, that's the point and I am now quite certain that the emulation was entirely intentional. The B-21 Raider allegedly is about to reveal something "big" soon (i.e. in a day or two) and the entire timing of this AVIC video is suspicious to say the least.

Well, I'm saying whoever made the video wanted to emulate the NG ad because they lacked imagination and good taste.

I saw Oedosoldier retweet that thing about the supposed B-21 reveal as well, but I don't think the XAC video and that are connected.

Nah I have a hunch that they did that on purpose (and not only because they lacked imagination). Of course, this only adds to the "China copies" narrative so in a sense AVIC is shooting itself in the foot.
