Relatively accurate summary of what we know and can predict about chinese bomber development.

Despite his other drawbacks, Richard Fisher is reliable in researching PLA development (assisted by places like here, no less!), and Bill Sweetman is definitely one of the better aerospace watchers out there.

The method of operation of Fisher is to get the information from forums like these and then add his two cents which is political in nature. Has he done anything that doesn't advocate for more money for the US military?

Whatever his politics mace The data looks good and analysis is consistent.

He's also great at collating information from interviews.

He quoted a Russian hypersonic scientist saying in 2007 that the Chinese were racing ahead of the U.S. and Russia in hypersonics, and in about 2010, that an Asian source mentioned a new Chinese supersonic AShM (presumably the YJ-12).

From AssassinsMace's post in UAV thread. May be related, may be not. I wonder what placard title says and what university is this. One I can say is that planform shape is not optimal for small/mid-sized UAV, so I think that is scaled prototype of something much bigger.

AssassinsMace - Harrier III has tapered wing and winglets, plus engine/drive shafts nacelles are clearly larger in reference to her size. Model on placard meantime has trailing edges parallel to leading ones in accordance to LO reqs, lacks winglets etc.

I wouldn't be surprised if they're the same because if you look at the Harrier II prototype pics at the exhibition with the model displayed, those two have dissimilarities as well but they're advertising both as the Harrier II.
