That's the Mukhamedov wing, you can see more of his designs here (among others he designed the defunct iranian Shafaq). Maybe he found work in China ?! (that is, providing this aircraft turns to be real)

I think it's just fan art. Also the original pixelated photo we've determined is probably not representative of the final aircraft so this drawing was probably derived from it. Designed to fill the space so to speak.

My gripe is with the "disc" in the middle of fuselage as seen from the top view. Other than this, I basically don't have problem with the rest of the aircraft configuration.

It's a gun turret. :eek::eek::eek: The bomber will need it to protect itself against interceptors.

I enjoy retro as much as the next guy, I drool over ford mustangs and dodge challengers. But some how I imagine a step back to the all guts defense system of a gunner just seems rather... Anachronistic.
my bet would be some kind of radar.

Yep. We aren't talking about this picture now so much as what it may be hiding. Everyone knows this picture and the other one has been doctored so much we can barely tell the background let alone what kind of plane (if any) there is behind the pixelated drawing.

It is the BBS support behind this So called H-18 which is maintaining our interest and these picture's credibility
