Well I was away form my own comp for the weekend...now I'm back and surrounded by my sources and links so I think it wont last long;):p

to be honest with you guys, i'm actually really confused by the picture.

snake, if you don't mind, i would like to ask a couple of quick questions:

1. are the dark things at towards the top of your picture the anchors?
2. if so, are they fully retracted?

The thing is that I'm sure that I've seen this pic somewhere, but can't dyingly remember where and in what context...

My guess is USS Ronald Reagan or a similar supercarrier

Sorry guys for being late, was in Madrid on business.
Kostas was reasonably close, although he didn't name the the item and was wrong on the ship class.
This is Polinom sonar bulb on Soviet/Russian 1155 class ASW destroyer, if memory serves me right, this is Admiral Tributs. As I said, this thing is unique, because of the dimensions - it's near 30 m long and 5m in diameter.
I suppose Kostas may post next picture:D
